It actually doesn’t support the new firefox beta, the download link to get the firefox extension on the roboform site, says that it supports beta 3 but when you load it, it says its incompatible.

It really annoyed me, because I alway wait for roboform to say it supports the new version before I upgrade. Now I have to keep going back to the page every day and trying to see if the xpi has been updated.

Really shoddy, not what I have come to expect from roboform, however after producing such great updates for so long, it has to start going wrong somewhere. I bet I will be seeing posts like roboform alternatives soon. Its a shame

The RoboForm website:
http://www.roboform.com/browsers.html#browser_mozilla
has been updated and now has a direct link to the 3 Beta 4 interface driver. The left column has lines Platforms then FireFox click on them sequentially. Look for the bold line:

Install Adapter XPI manually into non-Firefox browsers.

The first line (for now) is:
Firefox 3.0b3 - 3.0b4 roboform-firefox-3.0.xpi

It works just fine now :) .

It says now that it supports beta 5 - BUT when I install the addon, it still says it is not supported and refuses to work.

Roboform is the absolute pickiest I’ve ever seen about even minor version changes in firefox. They’re usually quick to update, but it is extremely annoying when they SAY it is updated but it is not.

Okay - it is now working…. firefox was refusing to update the addon properly - so it wasn’t actually installing the new version.

I’ve been using Roboform for a few months and I love it. It saves me so much time on the internet
